In the shadow of the cross…

Christ was born to set us free from our sins

And bring eternal life!

We celebrate Christmas as the time that God sent His Son as a baby, a promise fulfilled.  His birth, however, was for the express purpose to die in our place, taking on God’s wrath for our sins, and giving up eternal life.  It IS a time to celebrate, but also a time to reflect on the purpose of His coming.

There Is A Redeemer

There is a redeemer,
Jesus, God’s own Son,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Holy One,
Jesus my redeemer,
Name above all names,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Oh, for sinners slain.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,

When I stand in Glory,
