“THICKER than BLOOD” by C. J. Darlington

Thicker than Blood is a story of two sisters, Christy and May Williams, who have drifted apart  after the tragic death of their parents.  Two young women, two very different choices of lifestyles.

Both young women are heartbroken over the loss of their relationship for different reasons.  May, more so, when she finds out their lawyer, Harvey Kurtz, knows Christy’s whereabouts but won’t disclose it to her.

After the funeral of their Aunt Edna, and subsequent life-changing (lost her job), life-threatening (being stalked) circumstances, Christy finds herself in a difficult situation, and determines to go see May. Through heart-wrenching events (lost in a blizzard), they find what they’ve both been looking for. A book of hope for torn apart families.

The ending definitely leaves room for a sequel.  Hopefully so!

C.J. DarlingtonC. J. Darlington has been in the antiquarian book-selling business for over a decade, scouting for stores similar to the one described in Thicker than Blood before co-founding her own online bookstore.  She also co-founded the Christian entertainment Web site, www.TitleTrakk.com.  She is also the winner of the 2008 Christian Writers Guild Operation First Novel contest.  A homeschooled graduate, she lives in Pennsylvania with her family.  Visit her Web site at www.cjdarlington.com, where you’ll find a section of interviews.  Check out both sites!

I received this book free from Ms. Darlington through Tyndale for my honest review of her book. My thanks for this opportunity to share a good Christian book for you to consider reading.
