In a nutshell, we’re raffling off gift cards and either a Kindle Fire or a Nook Color (winner’s choice) starting tomorrow night.

Fundraiser for Sandi Rog

Help us raise money to help the Rog family with the medical expenses they’re facing as Sandi battles stage four T-cell lymphoma. She is into her second year of fighting this cancer.

You are all SO AMAZING–we are closing in on $8,000 for Sandi’s treatment! I am praising God right now for this incredible gift. Thank you SO MUCH for the part you’ve all played in getting us this far!

Today we’ve launched Phase 2, which will be our last fundraising push before the close date of Christmas Eve (assuming no one steps up to set some amazing challenge next week, that is).  If you missed the first round of giving, or want to give more, I encourage you to participate in Phase 2 of the Sandi Rog Fundraiser so that we can help Sandi get through her treatment debt-free.

Things this time around are a little different. Here’s a link to the latest blog post that explains all the details. In a nutshell, we’re raffling off gift cards and either a Kindle Fire or a Nook Color (winner’s choice) starting tomorrow night. Tickets are only $2 this time, and every ticket purchased automatically gets entered into every prize drawing. We’re in desperate need of more gift cards, however, so if you work for or have a connection with a national store or restaurant and would be willing to talk to them about donating a gift card for $50-$100, please let me know, or CC me (alison dot strobel at gmail dot com) in an email to the person in charge (helptherogs@gmail.com).

Here’s a link to the new post on the blog that explains Phase 2:

And for easier tweeting, here’s the short version: http://bit.ly/sRAOis

God bless you all!!
Alison
