What’s Standing in Your Way? Are You Ready to Become Unstoppable?
Millions around the world recognize the smiling face and inspirations message of Nick Vujicic. Despite being born with out arms or legs, Nick’s challenges have not kept him from enjoying great adventures, a fulfilling and meaningful career, and loving relationships. Nick has overcome trials and hardships by focusing on the promises that he was created for a unique and specific purpose, that his life has value and is a gift to others, and that no matter the despair and hard times in life, God is always present. Nick credits his success in life to the power that is unleashed when faith takes action.
Nick is a motivational speaker, evangelist, author, and the director of the nonprofit organization Life Without Limbs. He has become a great inspiration to people around the world, regularly speaking to large crowds about overcoming obstacles and achieving dreams. A longtime resident of Australia, he now lives in Southern California with is wife, Kanae. Visit his websites: www.LifeWithoutLimbs.org and www.AttitudeIs Altitude.com.
But how does that happen? In Unstoppable Nick addresses adversity and difficult circumstances that many people face today, including personal crises; relationship issues; career and job challenges; health and disability concerns; self-destructive thoughts, emotions, and addictions; bullying, persecution, cruelty, and intolerance; imbalance in body, mind, heart, and spirit; and feeling out of control.
Through stories from his own life and the experiences of many other, Nick explains how anyone wanting a “ridiculously good life” can respond to these issues and more, to become unstoppable.
Being unstoppable is about believing and achieving. It’s about having faith in yourself, your talents and your purpose, and most of all, in God’s great love and His divine plan for your life (in Christ Jesus). My emphasis.
If you thought Life Without Limits was great, wait till you read Unstoppable! Nick Vujicic gets more personal and real in dealing with many of life’s tough issues as well as sharing that faith takes action. Some of the issues he responds to are: personal crises; relationship issues; career and job challenges; health and disability concerns; self-destructive thoughts, emotions, and addictions; bullying, persecution, cruelty, and intolerance; imbalance in body, mind, heart, and spirit; and feeling out of control.
Yes, he still has his “ridiculously good life,” attitude, which is infectious, but he delves into the world of missions, evangelizing, and the issues of those who contact him personally. He is adamant that the source of his faith takes action comes through the power of Jesus Christ in his life. And that everyone can have that power in their lives through Christ and put their faith to action and accomplish God’s will in their lives.
Nick’s personal goal, “is to always put my unstoppable faith into action so that the love of God in my heart is obvious in the way I treat and serve everyone in my life. To have faith is not enough. You have to exercise your faith, act upon it, and share it so that others are inspired to love God. … To know the power of the Holy Spirit and to have a personal relationship with the Lord. … ”
This is the whole purpose of his book, to encourage and inspire others to put their faith into action. I believe he accomplished that and more. We see inside the person of Nick, his heart, his passion, his love for God and others, and his desire to reach the world. In fact, Nick reminds me of the apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2:8: “Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.” Besides his desire that you receive and spread the Gospel, you will experience his affection for you, as well as how dear your life is to him. He’s that personal! His love exudes from God’s love in him.
Unstoppable is a book you absolutely need to read! I can still feel the essence of his life and the importance of God’s call to the mission of spreading the Gospel and putting your faith into action.
Although I don’t agree with all the Scripture interpretations, the sharing of the Gospel and faith takes action is superb!
